Safe Ride Information

E-ride operates during the fall and spring semesters except during holidays or school break times. Just call, give your first and last name, phone number, # of riders, requested pick up location and destination at the time of call. This service can only be used between destinations on the main campus. For more information, visit UNT’s transportation page or check out this video on how E-ride works.

To use Lyft you will need to download and install the app using the links provided for Android and iPhone cell phones below. Lyft ride services can be used for free between 2:00 AM and 7:00 AM if your destinations are within the UNT campus. To find the coverage area you will first need to enter the code UNTFALL21 in the “Promos” section of Lyft. Then, go to “Payment” and view your UNT Late Night Rides Pass.

The Transit App will allow you to look at all DCTA bus routes including UNT Campus Shuttles, Denton Connect Buses, and Lewisville Connect Buses. Be aware that the bus times displayed on the app are estimates and actual times may vary. To use the Transit App, you will need to download and install the app using the links provided for Android and iPhone cell phones below.

Free for UNT students that present their UNT identification cards on the following bus routes: UNT Campus Shuttles, Denton Connect Buses, and Lewisville Connect Buses.
