Master of Public Health Online

The MPH Online offers students the ability to further their studies and take themselves to the next level. Applicants may qualify for the MPH Online 48 credit hour or 42 credit hour program depending on your experience and background. What’s the difference between the two?

  • The MPH Online 48 credit hour program is best for recent graduates or career changers. In this program, students will engage with a range of public health competencies, including community health and health policy management. Students will also enjoy customizing their program with 12 elective credits. Build the skills to play an adaptable role as the needs of your community change today, tomorrow and in the future. 
  • The MPH Online 42 credit hour program is for those with at least 3 years of work experience in public health or medical professions or applicants that already hold an advanced degree or are enrolled in a dual graduate program. Students will gain a strong foundation in public health core competencies as well as a focus in health management and policy. Students will also enjoy customizing the program with 12 elective credits or request an evaluation of relevant prior masters’ coursework for potential application to the degree.

Master of Health Administration Online

The Master of Health Administration Online program is crafted for working professionals. Our program allows for advancing your training while boosting your career trajectory. Based out of the UNT Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas, you will find a part-time delivery that allows you to balance your education, your career and life’s demands. This 48-credit hour, 100% online program serves as the first step towards your future.

The curriculum is guided by the UNTHSC MHA Competency Model which addresses the complexity and dynamic qualities of the health leader’s role and reflects the realities in health leadership today. Through a practice experience and a final integrative experience, students are expected to incorporate, synthesize, and apply their knowledge within both an operational and a community context.
