2017 Application Instructions for the PharmD Program
(Deadline extensions will not be granted)
The 2017 application cycle will open in mid-July 2016*. If you are interested in seeking admission to this program, the information below will guide you in completing the application process. Our PharmCAS and Course Verification Form deadline is January 5, 2017. It takes 4-6 weeks for PharmCAS to verify all of your submitted application materials. PLEASE APPLY EARLY.
The information below will guide you in applying to the UNT System College of Pharmacy. Our application entails a 2-step process:
Step ONE: Complete and submit the PharmCAS on-line application.
All PharmCAS application questions should be addressed to PharmCAS at www.pharmcas.org
Before completing the application, please read PharmCAS instructions in their entirety.
The PharmCAS application will ask for the following:
- PCAT scores
- Biographical information
- Personal data
- Institutions attended
- Official US transcript(s)
- Extracurricular activities
- Work experience
- Letters of recommendation (three only)
- PharmCAS application fee
Please do not mail any of these items to the UNT System College of Pharmacy.
Course Verification Form
Step TWO: You are required to complete the UNT System College of Pharmacy Course Verification Form.
Before you begin the Course Verification Form, obtain your PharmCAS ID number by creating a PharmCAS login account. Your PharmCAS ID Number will be required for completion of the Course Verification Form. It is very important that you enter your PharmCAS ID Number correctly into the form.

Step THREE: Selected applicants will be invited to the UNT System College of Pharmacy in Fort Worth, Texas for an admissions interview. Please note, not everyone who applies is invited to interview.
Interviews generally take place from October to March. Interviews may end sooner if the class is filled. Candidates who are invited to interview will be contacted by email.
Early submission of your application can increase your chances of interview selection. Interview results are confidential and are considered in the competitive selection process.
Declining or failing to respond to an interview offer will result in rejection of your application. Failure to show for a scheduled interview will be reported to PharmCAS as Unprofessional Conduct.
