Evan Robinson, RPh, PhD, FNAP
Dean and Professor for the College of Pharmacy
Dr. Robinson is an accomplished leader in pharmacy education, with a rich background in academic administration, leadership, and research. He joined the University of North Texas Health Science Center as the Dean for the College of Pharmacy in January 2025.
Prior to joining UNTHSC he served as the Dean of the Creighton University School of Pharmacy and Health Professions from August 2019 to December 2021, before taking a sabbatical and returning to the faculty. Dr. Robinson also served as founding Dean of the Western New England University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, where he also held the role of Associate Provost for Academic Affairs. His experience in academic leadership and innovation also led to his involvement in the establishment of two new schools of pharmacy at the University of Charleston in West Virginia and Shenandoah University.
Dr. Robinson holds a B.S. in Pharmacy and an M.S. in Pharmacy Administration from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy (now the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy), as well as a Ph.D. in Pharmacy Administration from Auburn University. His exceptional contributions to the field were recognized in 2020 when he was named a Distinguished Fellow of the National Academies of Practice.
His work has made a lasting impact on the academic community and in the field of pharmacy education. Dr. Robinson has authored more than 60 peer-reviewed and non-peer-reviewed manuscripts and book chapters, and he has delivered over 100 presentations and posters on topics such as leadership, culture, psychological safety, and student success.
Dr. Robinson is also an active member of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP), where he has contributed to numerous leadership initiatives. He chaired the AACP Student Affairs Committee for the 2022-23 term and currently serves on the AACP Strategic Engagement Committee for 2023-24. He has held several prominent leadership positions within AACP, including Speaker of the House of Delegates (2015-2017) and Chair of the Council of Deans (2018-2019).
Throughout his career, Dr. Robinson has been dedicated to improving student success and fostering a positive academic culture.
