The College of Biomedical and Translational Sciences at HSC Fort Worth

The College of Biomedical and Translational Sciences at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth is dedicated to shaping the future of the biomedical workforce. We provide high-quality education and training to our undergraduate, PhD, and Master’s students, preparing them to be the educators, researchers, and professionals of tomorrow. Our talented and dedicated faculty mentor, teach, and train students using state-of-the-art technology and methods to address major biomedical challenges, including cancer, cardiovascular disease, infectious disease, and Alzheimer’s disease.

Our competency-based graduate programs feature an integrated curriculum that offers a broad foundation in the biomedical sciences. Students also have the opportunity to tailor their training to their interests. Our curriculum emphasizes a team approach to solving complex problems, which is crucial for understanding the biological principles that govern health and disease. Through a mix of didactic and problem-based learning experiences, along with hands-on training, our students are equipped with the tools to tackle the challenges of the future.
