Zoom Training Workshop
This workshop will be offered on two dates:
11/29: 12:00-1:00 in LIB 400 or 12/1: 9:30-10:30 in LIB 400
Zoom is one of the solutions available on campus for a Best Place for All telecommuting tool and working remotely in the 21st century. Zoom is also a part of our plan for emergency weather closures on campus. If you are a faculty member who teaches a face-to-face or blended class on the day of a weather-related campus closure, you can use Zoom to still meet with your class virtually. See our Snow Day Solutions page for more information.
Zoom is a widely used videoconferencing and recording tool that offers full Canvas integration. You can use it to meet with an online class, give or record a video presentation (e.g., a lecture), draw on a digital whiteboard as part of a video presentation, hold faculty or staff meetings, conduct video interviews with job applicants, and use it for many, many more purposes. In this workshop, we will prepare you to use all of Zoom’s features that are most relevant to you. This is a hands-on workshop, so bring your laptop!
