Monday, March 26:
HSC Connect Sign-Ups:
Help us build our network by stopping by MET Lobby from 12:00-1:00pm to join HSC Connect! Be the 1000th person to join the network and win a grand prize! HSC Connect is a wonderful way to get connected with UNTHSC alumni, students, faculty, and staff. Click HERE to view additional benefits and sign-up information.
Fit Fest and Therapy Dogs:
Drop by MET 109-111 from 3:30-5:30pm to learn how you can be active and healthy all around Fort Worth, outside of the traditional gym setting. We will have a variety of local health and fitness organizations there to share information on their services. We will also have our precious Therapy Dogs present to help you wind down and reduce stress. RSVP HERE.
Tuesday, March 27:
LGBTQ+ Ally Workshop Part 1:
Join us in EAD 406 from 12:00-1:00pm for this lunch and learn. This Ally workshop provides a basic framework of understanding lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) and the unique challenges this population often faces.This is the first session of a two-part series. When you complete both workshops you will receive either an Ally Magnet or an Ally Button. RSVP HERE.

Wednesday, March 28:
Beauty (and Brains) Sleep:
Sleep affects many aspects of an individual’s wellbeing including one’s academic performance and mental health. Pick up some swag that can improve your sleep (e.g., eye masks, ear plugs, decaf tea). You will also have the opportunity to learn about the importance of sleep, sleep deprivation, tips to improve your sleep and health, and the #stopthesnore campaign by the CDC. Stop by one of two tabling session:

Thursday, March 29:
LGBTQ+ Ally Workshop Part 2:
Meet in EAD 406 from 12:00-1:00pm for the second Ally Training. You will learn and practice interrupting systemic oppression of the LGBTQA+ population in your day to day experiences. You will learn about and practice identifying how multiple systems of oppression may intersect. This is the second session in a two-part session. When you complete both workshops you will receive either an Ally Magnet or an Ally Button. RSVP HERE.

Yoga on the Lawn:
Join us for Yoga on the MET Lawn from 12:10-12:50pm. Please, BRING YOUR OWN MAT. This is an opportunity to get fresh air, be in natural light, and nurture your mind, body, and spirit. One lucky attendee will win a free yoga bag! RSVP HERE.
