Lacey LaPointe, CFRE
Sr. Vice President of Institutional Advancement and Communications
Lacey LaPointe is HSC’s Senior Vice President of Advancement and Communications as well as the Executive Director for HSC’s Foundation. Lacey is a member of President Michael Williams’ cabinet and serves as the university’s lead development and marketing strategist, overseeing fundraising, branding, media relations, alumni affairs and internal and external communications.
Lacey joined HSC in October and has spent more than 15 years serving in leadership roles for various non-profits in North Texas. Before coming to HSC, Lacey spent three years with Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch where she served as the Chief Advancement Officer and was responsible for securing more than $24 million in private funding on an annual basis. To date, her fundraising efforts have generated more than $150 million to support multiple organization over the years.
As a native Texan born in Fort Worth, Lapointe is excited to bring her energy and background to HSC.
“HSC is doing important work that is relevant and will lead the community forward. The timing is right, and I look forward to being here to help them celebrate the next 50 years and what it will mean to Fort Worth and health care,” said Lapointe.
The Academic Communications Team works in a highly collaborative model with Marketing and Communications and Institutional Advancement to oversee all facets of strategic communications and marketing for our five colleges, HSC Health, and all academic support divisions.

Through fund development, community education and alumni relations, our goal is to build meaningful relationships that expand opportunities for our students, faculty and programs in ways that transform countless lives.
Marketing and Communications
Through Extraordinary Teamwork with schools and departments across campus, the Office of Marketing and Communications develops marketing, communication and brand strategies that showcase the Health Science Center’s successes in research, education and health care.
