Personal Bio

Lyndee is a PhD student in the SARS program working with Dr. Scott Maddux. She holds a B.F.A. in drawing and illustration as well as a B.S. in biology from the University of Texas at Arlington and earned her MS in Medical Sciences here at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. Currently, she is working on a project assessing variation in nasal morphology and air flow dynamics in collaboration with the Dennis Lab at the University of Texas at Arlington. Her research interests include shape analysis with geometric morphometrics, medical imaging analysis, functional morphology, evolution and pathobiology. Additionally, she has interests in computer vision, machine learning, and programming to augment research methodologies utilizing digital imaging data.
