These instructions were generated using the stock Android Email application. Your settings may be different depending on phone manufacturer and version of software.
Moving to Office 365 on your smart phone will require you to remove your existing account (if one was setup) and add the account again.
Deleting an Exchange account on Android
Open your settings menu and scroll down to the Accounts section.
Locate your work email account and tap the icon next to it.
Click on your account name to access the account sync settings.
Click the settings button in the upper right hand corner.
Click Remove account. Click Remove account again on the warning that follows.
Adding an Office 365 account to Android
Open your settings menu and scroll to Accounts. Click Add account.
Enter your full email address (i.e. email@example.com). Click the right arrow to continue.
Enter your email password on the following screen. Click the right arrow to continue.
Verify that your username is your email address and change the server address to outlook.office365.com. Click the right arrow to continue.
Click OK on the Remote security administration message.
Choose your sync settings here if you wish. Default settings will only sync 1 weeks worth of emails. Click the right arrow button to continue.
Click Activate on the following screen to complete the account setup.
