The method CETS has adopted is a Blameless Start-Stop-Continue approach.
Start – Identify things that would be useful to start doing.
Stop – Identify things that were done but were not useful to the outcome of the event and stop doing them.
Continue – Identify things that were done and worked so they can continue to be part of the events process
The “Blameless After Action Review” is held soon after the event and includes both CETS and the event coordinator(s).
Everyone is asked to come to the meeting with some ideas for each category.
- A list for each category is created.
- After the list is created then a voting process ensues.
- The goal is to “bubble up” one item for each category to implement.
