Benefits of donating your body to science
Your donation to the Willed Body Program of the UNT Health Science Center will help educate future health professionals and improve the quality of health for future generations. This unique gift helps our students discover the intricate beauty of the human body and become better physicians. All educational studies are performed with dignity and respect to the donor.
We all want to be healthy, stay healthy and live long, productive lives. We want our doctors to not only make us well when we’re sick, but also help us prevent illness in the first place. At the UNT Health Science Center, we’re responsible for educating physicians, scientists, and other healthcare providers who can live up to those demands now and into the future.
Our medical students learn comprehensive and compassionate health care that considers the family, not just the individual… the prevention of disease, not just the cure. Through the Willed Body Program in the Center for Anatomical Sciences, these medical students learn the skills they need to become tomorrow’s health care providers.
