HSC-TABS Outreach Programs

The Texas Academy of Biomedical Science was founded in 2011 as a partnership between UNTHSC, Fort Worth ISD, and Tarrant County College. TABS is an early college high school dedicated to educating students who have expressed interest in biomedical-related careers and areas of study. Since its founding, UNTHSC has offered TABS students hands-on opportunities and mentorship in biomedical sciences education, research, and career exploration.
