Trevino__Jennifer_1__2As Vice President of Administration and Chief of Staff to the President, Jennifer Treviño collaborates with executive leadership to support the President’s strategic initiatives. She also serves as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders and across the UNT System to enhance operations and help drive UNTHSC’s vision to be the team of choice for education, discovery and health care.

Treviño joined UNTHSC in 2007 as an administrative director and later Director of Faculty Affairs before assuming her current role. Previously, Treviño was a Product Marketing Manager for RadioShack Corporation and served in store management and retail operations with HEB Grocery.

In 2010, she was named to the “40 Under 40″ class by the Fort Worth Business Press. In that same year, the United Hispanic Council honored her with a Hispanic Heritage Award.  In 2012, Treviño was recognized as one of 17 women honored as the “Most Powerful and Influential Women” by the Texas Diversity Council.  Later in 2012, she was selected as one of 12 Hispanic leaders from across the United States for the MillerCoors Líderes program, which honors outstanding Hispanics for their vision, commitment to service and ability to inspire their communities.

The Fort Worth Chapter of the Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas (HWNT) honored Treviño with a Rising Star Award in 2007, a Shining Star Award in 2012, and the chapter’s Estrella Award at the state level of the organization in 2013.  Her accomplishments with HWNT include serving as Scholarship Chair in 2009-2010, years of service on the education and scholarship committees, fundraising and, most recently, the development and support of the Latinas in Progress Alumni group.  She will serve as Chair of the organization in 2015 and 2016.

Treviño is an active member of several other organizations and boards, including District 2 Appointee to the City Plan Commission, TCU MBA Advisory Board and Vice President of her neighborhood association, which has won city and national awards for its programs.

She holds an MBA from the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University and a BBA in Marketing and Management from Texas Tech University.
