Dr. Jeff Beeson | Interim Executive Vice President of Health Systems and Vice President of Clinical Partnerships and Initiatives

Jeff Beeson, DO, RN, EMT-P, is the interim executive vice president of health systems and the vice president of clinical partnerships and initiatives at The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth. He is an assistant professor of medical education in HSC’s Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and the medical director for the School of Health Professions’ Physician Assistant Studies program.

His medical career started as an EMT working in rural Texas. Prior to earning his medical education at TCOM, he worked as a paramedic and registered nurse in the emergency department and air ambulance programs. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas.

As a national leader in mobile integrated health care delivery, Dr. Beeson has developed and operated multiple inter-professional systems of care across the United States. Dr. Beeson is the medical team manager and medical director for Texas Task Force, one of 28 FEMA search and rescue teams. He also serves as an alternate medical officer for the search and rescue incident support team under FEMA. He is board certified in emergency medicine and emergency medical services.
