He also served as a statewide corporate director for Catholic Healthcare West in Nevada. His responsibilities included marketing, public relations, business development, physician relations and political affairs extending over four hospitals, a health plan and various clinics. As a member of the multi-hospital administrative team, he had direct oversight over departments at several hospitals and coordinated all state advocacy efforts for the hospital system. During his time with CHW, he drafted and worked to pass several pieces of legislation that helped the hospitals save money and grow business opportunities. For this effort and others like it, he was Nevada’s first-ever recipient of the American Hospital Association’s Grassroots Champion award.

Prior to his work in health care marketing and planning, Mr. North worked as a spokesman for an international lighting control and automation company. Before that, he worked as a publicist for a research organization with scholars who led the meticulous effort developing and implementing technology to reveal and photograph the writings on the Dead Sea Scrolls.
