Instructions to MAC VPN


Configuring the GlobalProtect

NOTE: You will need to be enrolled in MFA Authentication / DUO Mobile to access the VPN, so please make sure you are enabled before attempting to connect.

  1. Open GlobalProtect, located in your Applications folder.
    • If not Download HERE
  2. In the space provided:, enter
  3. Click Connect.
  4. In the space to the right of Username:, enter your EUID.
  5. In the space to the right of Password:, enter your EUID password.
  6. Click Connect.
  7. At this point, you will also receive a DUO / MFA prompt, please make sure to authenticate it by having your phone nearby to accept the prompt.
  8. To disconnect, click the icon in the Top Menu Bar, which brings up a window; click Disconnect in the window.
  9. Quit GlobalProtect (File > Quit, or command-Q).
  10. Your settings are retained (except for your password).
  11. From now on, each time you open GlobalProtect Client, just click Connect, enter your password, click Connect and approve via DUO.

Note: Be sure you unmounts any servers/computers you are remotely connected to before disconnecting VPN.
