Description:
The University of North Texas Health Science Center, Fort Worth's medical school and more, is a 33-acre graduate school located in the city's Cultural District. The campus includes the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, the Department of Physician Assistant Studies, the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, the School of Public Health and the School of Health Professions.

Date Founded:
Opened in 1970 as the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. First class graduated in 1974. Became a state college and joined UNT in 1975. Renamed in 1993 as the University of North Texas Health Science Center.
