Demolition of OMCT building

October 2007 – Hazardous material abatement and removal

January 2008 – Internal demolition

February 2008 – The Health Science Center bids farewell to the OMCT with a community event to mark the beginning of external demolition.

May 2008 – Crews demolish the center tower of the OMCT building – including the emergency room, surgical and medical suites, and the helipad on the roof.

August 2008 – Demolition complete

October 2008 – Construction crews arrive at the site and begin excavation

November 2008 – Support pier drilling

February 2009 – Structural steel construction

April 2009 –Buildings façade construction

May 2009 – Finishing touches.

January 2010 – Building A complete.
