Submission Deadline is Monday, February 2, at Noon.
Important Notices
Before the electronic submission of RAD abstracts, please review the content for possible disclosure of intellectual property - inventions and novel discoveries that may be patentable by UNTHSC. If you believe your abstract and planned poster/presentation may contain such information, please contact Robert McClain in the Office of Technology Development & Commercialization at (817) 735-2618.
Pre-submission abstracts and presentation content may be forwarded to Dr. McClain at rmcclain@hsc.unt.edu
If your research project involves or involved the use of human subjects or data derived from human subjects you will need to have documentation of prior IRB review and approval of the project in order for your abstract to be accepted for RAD. If you have any questions about this, please contact Dr. Brian Gladue, Director, Office for the Protection of Human Subjects (OPHS) at bgladue@hsc.unt.edu or call OPHS at (817)-735-5083.
Attention Research Appreciation Day Poster Participants
Poster panels have a display area of 57"w by 36"h. Only Velcro may be used to secure posters to the display panels. Velcro will be available at the information table inside the entrance to the poster session.
Graphic Arts has prepared an instructional presentation. Please follow these instructions and your poster will be a success. Please do not copy and paste graphics your poster may print to your desktop printer but will not print to the postscript printers used for wide format printing.
Deadline for printing only: February 23
Deadline for Graphic Arts for poster designs and printing: February 20
There are always many RAD posters to print and limited time available. The earlier Graphic Arts receives your poster the better. We can print your posters after the deadlines indicated, but a rush charge will be applied.
We are here to help you - and your assistance in preparing your files correctly will make Research Appreciation Day preparations go smoothly.
If you would like more information or you need assistance, please contact Laura Carter, Graphic Arts Coordinator, x2022.
